
Some Tips in Organizing and Cleaning Toys
Any family with children has gathered quite a few toys over the years and the notion of organizing them out is a thought in itself. To make cleaning and organizing on the children toys easier, check out the tips below.
1. Donate some toys to charity organizations, or even hold a garage sale. If not, think about how toys can pop into buckets/baskets and organize that toy by category for simple access for the kids.
2. Collect the toys to a single area since children used to have toys in each room of your home. Then start organizing and separating the toys to piles like sorting soft toys from hard ones.
3. For cleaning the toys, you may offer a sanitizer by mixing one cup of water and one cup of vinegar into a spray bottle to wash to the toys. Given that is a method of sanitizing, the children could assist with this task. For larger plastic, wooden or metal toys and gear, wash the surface with water and soap and allow air-dry. Also, small toys can be washed in the dishwasher with water and dish soap. This sanitizes and cleans them. Fabric toys can be washed with laundry detergent and hot water.
4. If all of your children’ toys are put together in a box, it might be tough for the kids to understand exactly what lies under the heap. So they tend to get what can be readily accessed and the exact toy is used over and over again. Maybe attempt to separate toys between baskets or shelves.
